Yet, another reason I love the Wii!!!
I can play "ONE HANDED!" While holding Drew in the other hand. Did I beat Josh at Wii Tennis? Look at his expression at his crushing
cross-court forehand. I beat him the first couple sets, then he got the best of me.
In fact, those of you who are Wii owners, Josh is now "Pro' in
tennis.
Tellapascer?!?!?!
Hannah has been very helpful since
little Drew's arrival (for the most part anyway). She loves to help me take
care of him. Any time he is crying he runs to me or Ricky and says, "Baby
Andrew is crying!"
One of the things she likes to make
sure he has (whether he needs it or not) is his pacifier. She even likes to
make sure Daddy has it when he is napping!
However, she can't say the word
pacifier. It comes out as a tellapascer. I am not even sure how to spell it,
but the "sce" makes the "s" sound not the k!
Drew happens to be very picky about
his "tellapascer". As you can see he takes after his father and
bleeds orange! Go Pokes!
PS Thanks to Aunt Sarah. She found
it for us in Stillwater. Let's hope we don't lose this one as it is hard to
find anything OSU south of the Red River and burnt Texas orange just isn't the
same!
How the hair gets tangled in the first place
We snuck in the other night to see how Hannah was doing. She
had all her "babies" all over her bed and if you look carefully,
you can see her hair begin to knot up.
Bruhaw Hair Gone...
Most of you who see Hannah on a
regular basis are aware of her most distinctive characteristic these days
(especially since Daddy has been in charge of getting her dressed in the
morning...) her huge knot of hair on the back of her head!
No matter what I use on her hair
(spray detangler, big girl conditioner, etc...) she would wake up in the
morning with this huge knot of mess in the back of her head. She HATED to have
it brushed and it was usually easier to just put it up in a "pony"
and be done with it. Brushing it out the night before didn't seem to help
either.
Every trip to the store I would
scour the hair gel aisle in search of some kind of anti-frizz stuff. Never
once being successful...
Until last night... We went to
Walmart b/c the daddy just HAD to get the kids one of those plastic pools
(better known to us here in TX: west nile habitats!)
Anyway, I had to pick up some things
for a baby shower and was in the baby care aisle when I came across some
detangler conditioner for kids.
Ricky used it on her hair this
afternoon before nap and it worked! Even after her nap she didn't have the
"nappy" hair she usually has.
She was soooo proud of her
conditioner. She carried it around all night and said, "Hannah's
shampoo! Bruhaw hair gone!"
Oh, do I hope she is right... We will find out tomorrow I
guess!!!
