Here We "Grow" Again...

Well, the cat's out of the bag... Our family is growing. We are expecting a little May baby!

I found out the night before Labor Day. I decided to wait until Labor Day morning to tell the daddy. I made a cute little card with a baby's hiney on it. On the front I wrote Labor Day and on the inside I wrote May 14, 2007. I had Hannah "write" Daddy, Mommy wants to book you for this date. Are you available? After all, he books very early (weddings that is) and I had to make sure he would be available to take me to the hospital when the time comes.

Hannah delivered it to Daddy inside a picture book about growing families. At first, he didn't believe me so I had to take the test stick in to convince him. Hannah still doesn't quite understand, but she does point to my belly and says "baby". She also points to her DADDDY's belly and says baby!

On Grandparents' Day Hannah and the new baby (with a little help from Aunt Sarah) delivered a simple bouquet of white roses tipped in baby blue and pink for Granny and PaPa and Lola and Grandpa to tell the good news.

Today she wore a "Big Sis" shirt to Kadence's birthday party to tell the rest of the gang. It took a minute for everyone to catch on. We ask Hannah, "Do you want a brother or sister?" She almost always says, "Sister!" Although, I don't think that really means anything considering that her favorite word right now is also an s word: sausage!

I am feeling pretty good. Don't seem near as tired with this one like with Hannah. Although after being up around the clock with a newborn, I now have a higher threshold of fatigue. I am pretty beat by the end of the week and always look forward to the weekend.

I go to the doctor on Thursday. We'll keep you posted. Until then...
