Fourth Month Check-Up
Hannah went to see Dr. Miller Tuesday for her 4 month check-up. I made Ricky meet me there since he didn't make it last time. It was HIS turn to hold Hannah down while she got those awful shots!
We were so excited to see how much she weighs now. I have put her on one bottle of formula a day and she seems to be getting a little chubby (finally!)
A couple of weeks ago I took her in for a weight check and she only had gained one pound since her 2 month check-up. But today was different! Hannah had gained over a pound in about a week! She weighed in at a whopping 11 pounds 12 ounces! Just shy of 12, but it was enough to bring her out of the 3rd percentile into the 10th. She is even getting a little taller 23 inches. Hey, she is almost 2 feet tall! The sad thing is that given how short her parents are she is probaly not going to be much taller as the years go on!
Anyway, shot time came and guess who the nurse gave the paperwork to for a signature? That's right. Ricky! So guess who had to hold Hannah down again? That's right! Mommy. Poor little thing! Her little face went from happy to sad in about 2 seconds!
Dr. Miller said that Miss Hannah could move on to the finer things in life: Rice Cereal!!!! Once she gets the hang of that, we get to move on to fruits and veggies! Maybe this weekend we will break out the good stuff and see how she likes it. But for now she will stick to her "liquid" diet.
