Ah, the hustle and bustle of the season...

This December has been pretty low key around here compared to Decembers past. So far Ricky and I have only been to one party and that looks like all it might be this year. We have on the other hand been busy getting Christmas together...

We got our tree the weekend of Thanksgiving. Hannah helped hang the ornaments and candy canes around the bottom branches. Ricky got the outside lights hung and all. As for any other decorations they didn't come out this year. Partly b.c it seemed like such a big task that I didn't want to tackle this year and partly b.c. I knew a certain someone would be very "helpful" in moving them around for a better view.

There is one Santa that is out that she likes to carry around and say "Ho! Ho! Ho!" Yes, Uncle Josh she does say it, but we are still trying to get it on tape to prove it.

Last week when we ran to the mall to shop for a bit we decided to take Hannah over to see the "man" since there was not a long wait. She wanted nothing to do with him. He even offered her candy! We got her to sit on his lap for a quick pic although you can tell it isn't exactly her idea of "fun". She did get her request in for a sister though. Santa said that he was pretty sure that he couldn't get that one here before the big day. Hey, he is good, but some things he just CAN"T do!

Hannah loves to help Mommy wrap presents. She does a pretty good job although she likes to use lots of tape in places that really don't need any.

Today when we were at Wal-Mart waiting for our pictures to be developed, we saw Santa again. When we went up to him, she turned her back on him and started to stick that bottom lip out. Lucky for me the picture place was right by Santa so she sat VERY still the whole time we had to wait for pictures. I guess she was afraid that she was going to have to take another picture with him.

We are off to visit Santa at my school tomorrow. He will be there visiting the teachers' kids. Daddy has volunteered to be the photographer for the outing. We will see how it goes tomorrow! He is supposed to have a goody bag for each kid so maybe that will help...

Off to finish Christmas cards!

PS Ricky is shooting a wedding so pics will have to wait until tomorrow...
