Hannah's 9 Month Check-Up

Yesterday, July 14, 2005, Hannah turned 9 months. And what better to "celebrate" this milestone but with a trip to see Dr. Miller!!! The good news was there were NO shots AND we didn't even have to pay for any of it! It was "on the house" since we had to wait over 2 hours for the doc on her six month check!

Hannah is gradually gaining weight. She is even beginning to look a litte "chubby" in the belly thanks in part to this thing called "table food". She refuses to eat her baby food so we are on to the finer things in life such as cheese, brisket, raisins, etc...

Her are her stats: 16 pounds and 3 ounces. Which means she ALMOST gained 2 1/2 pounds since her last visit. She is back in the 10th percentile in weight instead of her usual 3rd.

The interesting thing is that she is actually average in height. She is 27 1/4" which puts her in the 50th! Now if you know her mom and dad that is amazing since we aren't exactly "vertically gifted". Her new friend Cameron also had her 9 month check-up on the same day and she is the same height as Hannah, but she weighs almost 2 1/2 pounds more than her!

The clock is ticking: only 3 months until her 1st birthday! I better start gearin' up for the big day! Should we do Care Bears (she LOVES her Harmony bear that Greg and Anna gave her) or pink gingham?!?!?!
